About History Makers
Children are honored and cared for at Joy Christian Fellowship. Through the History Makers ministry, each child who attends Joy Christian Fellowship is given spiritual and practical guidance, from the nursery through the fifth grade.
Children’s Pastor Stacey Jessen and her team encourage the gifts of the spirit from an early age. With a teaching curriculum and system of training, young Christians learn about Jesus, get a heart for God and are transformed into leaders and teachers. Also, shy, at-risk and behaviorally challenged children are accepted and provided friendship and spiritual instruction that will lead them to their destiny.
Mission Statement:
The mission of the children's ministry is to birth a generation of children who will have an uncompromising passion for Jesus. Taking the Gospel into the whole earth and training our future generations of apostles, pastors and teachers, and to give them a passion for evangelism. To raise up and release our "History Makers" into all God has for them while they are still children.
Sunday Classes:
Nursery - birth to 12 months
Little Lambs - 12 months to 36 months
Tiny Tots - 3 to 5 years
- 3's - Old Testament with the Beginner's Bible
- 4's - New Testament with the Beginner's Bible
- 5's - Topical Overview of the Bible using Beginner's Bible
History Makers - 6 years to 6th Grade
Using interactive and attention grabbing Bible lessons that will impart Godly principles and values in our children. We are training them up to be the leaders and History Makers of the future.
Wednesday Class Schedule
- Nursery - birth to 12 months
- Little Lambs - 12 months to 36 months

- 4-5's
- 1st and 2nd Grade
- 3rd Grade
- 4th and 5th Grade
